Can you believe it’s almost been a year since I started this little blog that could?! Lately life, my new business, family, and church life has kept me from being as active here as I’d like. But this is still one of my favorite places to connect with all of you and I wanted to let you know how grateful I am for you all! It’s been SUCH a beautiful year full of ups and downs, family adventures, milestones, and working with some amazing brands. And I feel so blessed to have all of you apart of my online community and support system. You keep my encouraged, motivated and inspired to continue doing what I love, creating, capturing, and sharing here. And without you this latest collaboration with one of my favorite kid shops, Freshly Picked, would not have been possible. I also can’t help but feel like I’ve come full circle with this post because I really just started this blog as a way to document my love for motherhood and children’s fashion by documenting Connor’s outfit of the days. Remember my very first post (a mini ootd style post) featuring Connor wearing those gold moccs for Thanksgiving?😍 Wow! We’ve come such a long way and I’m so grateful!
Here’s a little peak into Connor’s FP mocc journey, our wishlist 😉 , why we love these moccs so much, and all the deets on FP’s epic “Black Tuesday” #SweetestSale happening in their shop today (& tomorrow morning)!
Our Mocc Journey
I first learned about these cute little shoes while pregnant and knew I had to give them a try. (Don’t believe me, peep our fancy Facebook pregnancy announcement? lol!) I knew then my child would be about the “Mocc Life”! And I am so glad I bought her first pair with Freshly Picked! The rest is literally history!
If I had to choose any one item that has been an constant staple in Connor’s closet the past two years, these little Moccs would definitely be it. They are so perfect for little ankles and toes and I love how much these shoes have stayed with us as she has grown! As an infant I wasn’t a big fan of having her just wearing socks on our outings and these babies were just about the only thing that would stay on her feet in those early months. Fast forward many months later as she started walking they continued to prove to be ideal because of their flexible nature. They allowed her to grip the floor (like being barefoot) as she learned to walk and kept her comfortable. Now, at age two she still rocks them on the days we are primarily around the house or out and about when I know she won’t do a lot of walking.
I love these little moccs because they come in so many trendy and fun colors/patterns, they are durable and well made with such beautiful leather, they are Made in the USA, and because I know she won’t grow out of them as fast as many of her other shoes. I am so looking forward to Connor being able to continue to grow into her Freshly Picked shoes for the next couple of years and I can’t wait to see her transition into FP’s ‘Next Step’ Hard-Sole Moccs!
Here’s a few of our favorite hard-sole and soft-sole styles right now! Any one would make a perfect Christmas gift or baby shower gift for an expectant mom! And today – 11/23 at 10am MST only, all are 25% off at www.FreshlyPicked.com!
Happy Shopping And Happy Thanksgiving Friends!
